The beginning

The journey to HellForge Motorcyle Co. was an idea that had been bubbling away for many years like most other ideas with the notion that we’ll get to it one day,  it’s just the timing isn’t ‘right’ at the moment. I thought that it would require a large amount of capital, the safety certifications are complex and require investment in expensive testing equipment, and on, and on the list grew to the reasons why it was put on the back burner. But… when you get that itch, it’s hard not to scratch it.

I thought I needed to start small, maybe something else first. Launch a motorcycle jacket. Launch a motorcycle boot. Then come back to the helmet ideas once a company is established and has a foothold in the market. However, I’ve been down this path before. Watering down ideas, or getting sidetracked by other new goals.

We don’t get any younger and the paths we end walking may not always be the ones we originally intended. Whether we choose the paths or not they can be hard-fought, long, and unpredictable… these shape us, forge us, into who we are… hell forged. And so, the journey has begun.
